Nolalu On
Whitefish Lake is located approximately 70 kms (42 miles) southwest of Thunder Bay and 60 kms (36 miles) from the Canada - US Border
The lake itself has a maximum depth of 20 feet and an average depth of 8 feet and provides excellent Walleye, White Sucker, Jumbo Perch and Northern Pike fishing all year-round. There are appoximately 83,000 Walleye 30 centimeters or larger, 55,000 White Suckers, 10,000 Northern Pike and plenty of Perch to keep an angler occupied!
The rugged mountain shoreline covered with typical Boreal Forest provides a spectacular backdrop for a variety of wildlife including bald eagle, osprey, peregrine falcons, ducks as well as bear, moose and deer and a variety of other small mammals. A superb environment for hiking, canoeing or a photographer looking to capture the wild.
